Apply a small amount to clean face, hands, body, or anywhere your skin needs nourishment. You may need to warm briefly in your fingers until spreadable. Use as often as needed. A little goes a long way!
There may be variations in texture, as this is a natural product with no preservatives. Tallow is fat based, so it will be firmer in cool environments and smoother in warm environments. Because of variations in temperature during shipping, allow product to adjust to room temperature upon arrival. Best if used within 6 months at room temperature or 12 months in the refrigerator.

Tallow is rendered beef suet (fat). It has been used for centuries as a natural and extremely effective way to care for your skin. It is rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K and very closely mimics our skin’s natural oils, making it effective at boosting skin repair and providing deep nourishment. Tallow has anti-inflammatory properties to calm irritation, yet is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin.
Our tallow is hand-rendered from local Minnesota organic farms. All cattle is pasture-raised, grass-fed/finished, and given no hormones or antibiotics.

Since our tallow is fat-based and we do not add any preservatives, it can melt in warm temperatures. To protect the quality of your tallow, we only ship orders Mondays through Wednesdays. This helps prevent your package from sitting in a warm warehouse over the weekend and reduces the risk of melting during transit. We ship using thermal packaging and ice packs, however there is still a chance your item could melt in transit. The melting will not affect the quality of the product. Just pop it in the fridge and it will firm up within a couple hours. It may lose some of it’s whipped texture, but the use and benefits remain the same.
