Hi , I’m Krista — the heart behind Pure & Lovely Tallow.

I started this little business because I was searching for truly natural skincare that actually worked for me and for my family. As a mom with littles, I wanted something safe for my babies, but nourishing enough for my own skin too. That’s when I discovered tallow! It’s been used for centuries as an extremely effective moisturizer, loaded with vitamins and deeply nourishing –even for the most sensitive skin. I began using it on my face and loved the natural glow it produced. I knew I had to try it on my children as well. I started using it to treat diaper rash, dry patches, skin rashes, and more —and I was loving the results!

I started making small batches for my own family and couldn’t help but share it with others, so I started Pure & Lovely Tallow. I love partnering with local Minnesota organic farms where our tallow is sourced. All cattle is grass-fed/finished, pasture-raised, and hormone/antibiotic-free. Our products are handcrafted in small batches to ensure the best quality.
